Setu Vora has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. They have served as the Chief Medical Officer at Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation since 2017. Additionally, they have worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UConn Health since 2020. Setu Vora also has experience as the Founder of The VIP MED, a health movement that focuses on improving health and wellbeing. They have also worked as a Physician and Application Designer for the Health Transformers App for iOS. Setu Vora is the President and CEO of Health Quasar, an organization dedicated to empowering and educating healthcare professionals. They have also worked as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Faculty at REACH - Thought Leadership, where they have been involved in designing new innovations and approaches to addressing industry challenges. Setu Vora has had various roles at Pulmonary Physicians of Norwich and The William W. They have also been a member of various committees and associations, including the Connecticut Hospital Association and the Connecticut Thoracic Section.

Setu Vora completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut from 1998 to 2002. Following that, from 1998 to 2002, they also completed a Residency in Medicine at The University of Connecticut Health Center. Setu then pursued a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 2002 to 2005. In 2009 and 2010, Setu Vora obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University and as an Improvement Advisor from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) in 2010-2011.
