Mashpee Public School

The Mashpee Public School District is located in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Our mission is to ensure a student-centered, comprehensive program of rigor, scope, and depth that prepares all students to be college, career, service, and civic-ready and teaches respect and acceptance of others. Our vision is that every student, every day, is safe, respected, and engaged to achieve academic and social growth in a personalized learning environment. The students and staff of the Mashpee Public Schools are so fortunate to learn and work in a community that highly values its schools and education. We strive to ensure that all students are provided with high-quality and innovative academic learning opportunities, with access to a wide range of co-curricular activities, and with opportunities to participate in community service projects, are taught by caring and highly qualified educators, and are noticed, supported, and nurtured so they can reach their maximum potential, be healthy, and find success in their endeavors. A culture of kindness, respect, and excellence is present at each of our three schools (Coombs School--PreK - Grade 2, Quashnet School--Grades 3 - 6, and Mashpee Middle-High School--Grades 7 - 12). Our enrollment is 1550 students--5.7% of our students are Native American compared to a state average of just .2%; 35.1% of our students are economically disadvantaged, and 15.4% of our students have identified learning disabilities. We are grateful for the opportunity we have been given to serve the families of Mashpee. On a daily basis, we say “It’s GREAT to be in MASHPEE.” This is because of our students, our staff, our families, and our Mashpee community. #WeAreMashpee –
