Ameen Bahrami

Ameen Bahrami currently serves as the Director of Leveraged & Acquisition Finance at Mashreq since August 2022. Prior experience includes a longstanding tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, starting in September 2008, where Ameen held multiple director roles including Director of Energy & Natural Resources, Oil & Gas, and Director of the Financial Sponsors Group for EMEA. Previous positions at Standard Chartered encompassed Associate Director in the Financial Institutions Group and Analyst in Origination & Client Coverage. Ameen's educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science, completed in 2008, and Ameen is also a Fellow of the ACCA, obtained between 2009 and 2011. Ameen attended St Paul's School in Barnes, London from 2000 to 2005.
