Ashraf Belal

Ashraf Belal, MBA, serves as the Senior Vice President and Unit Head of the Services and Manufacturing Division at Mashreq Bank since April 2009, following a progressive career that includes roles as Senior Director, Head of Emerging Corporates in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and Senior Relationship Manager in the Contracting Finance Division. With extensive experience managing a portfolio valued at up to US$300MM, Ashraf has effectively implemented marketing strategies for both conventional and Islamic financing facilities. Prior to Mashreq Bank, Ashraf worked as a Corporate Officer at Arab Bank in Egypt from April 2006 to April 2009. Educational achievements include a Master of Business Administration in Banking & Finance from Geneva Business School, a credit management certification from Moody’s, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Banking from Ain Shams University.
