Dinesh Rao

Dinesh Rao is a seasoned banking technology professional with extensive experience in core banking systems and regulatory technology. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Core Banking & Regulatory Technology at Mashreq Bank since June 2020, Dinesh leads the implementation and delivery of core banking platforms along with regulatory technology initiatives. Prior roles include Vice President and Program Manager for International Integration at First Abu Dhabi Bank and various senior positions at Mashreq Bank, ABN AMRO, ICICI Bank, and IDBI Bank, where Dinesh managed large-scale technology programs and core banking implementations across multiple regions. Dinesh holds a Graduate Program in Management from XLRI and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Madras.
