Hassan Ali

Hassan Ali serves as the Group Chief of Internal Audit at Mashreq since July 2023 and is a Board Audit Committee Member at Sukoon Insurance from January 2024. Previously, Hassan held the position of VP - Head of Investments & Treasury Audit at Dubai Islamic Bank from April 2020 to June 2023, and various leadership roles at Noor Bank from May 2008 to April 2020, including Vice President for Retail Banking Audit and Head of Support Functions & Sharia Audit. Hassan's career began at Gulf Energy Maritime (GEM) PJSC as a Senior Accountant from October 2004 to May 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, a Bachelor's degree in Business & Management (Accounting) from the Higher Colleges of Technology, and a Higher Diploma in Accounting from the same institution.
