Mohamed El Attar

Mohamed El Attar is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in corporate banking and business development. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Origination & Business Development at Mashreq Bank since July 2021, Mohamed previously held the position of Managing Director - Head of Corporate Banking Origination & Business Development at the same institution from December 2017 to May 2021. Prior to joining Mashreq Bank, a career at HSBC spanned over 15 years, where Mohamed held various leadership roles, including Director of the Global Banking Coverage Division, Country Head of the International Subsidiaries Corporates Coverage Division, and Senior Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Applied Economics and a Master's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Cincinnati, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Ain Shams University.
