Mumtaz Hussain

Mumtaz Hussain is an accomplished finance technology professional with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as VP and Head of Finance Technology at Mashreq Bank since August 2022, Mumtaz previously held key roles at First Abu Dhabi Bank as a Senior Enterprise Solution Architect, focusing on AWS implementations and finance system migrations. With a strong background in analytics and business intelligence transformation at Mashreq Bank, Mumtaz has led significant initiatives, including Intelligent Process Automation programs. Earlier career stages included project management and consulting roles in core banking and software engineering. Mumtaz holds a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from the Virtual University of Pakistan and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Punjab University. Additionally, a certificate in Team Leading was obtained from the Institute of Leadership Management in the UK.
