Rajeev Goel

Rajeev Goel is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as Executive Vice President of Corporate and Institutional Risk at Mashreq Bank since July 2015, overseeing global risk for various sectors including Commercial Real Estate and Private Banking. Rajeev acted as Chief Risk Officer for Mashreq Bank in early 2019. Prior to this, Rajeev spent nearly two decades at Standard Chartered Bank, where roles included Global Head of Trade Risk and Regional Credit Officer for South East Asia, managing credit risk across multiple countries. Rajeev's educational background includes an Accelerated Development Program in Strategic Thinking and Leadership from The Wharton School and the Oxford Fintech Program from Saïd Business School, as well as a Post Graduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
