Ram Soni

Ram Soni is an experienced professional in information security governance, risk, and compliance, currently serving as the Head of Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance at Mashreq since March 2017. Ram has held positions of increasing responsibility including Acting CISO for Mashreq's New York operation and VP-Head of Information Security Compliance. Prior to Mashreq, Ram worked at FGB as Assistant Manager - Technology Risk, focusing on information security project implementation and audits. Experience with ControlCase as AVP - Security Consulting involved compliance audits and business development. Early career roles included consulting in information security at SISA Information Security Private Ltd and systems administration at Shyam Infotech. Ram holds an MS in Cyber Law & Information Security from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad and an MSc in Information Technology from the Allahabad Agricultural Institute.
