Samik Mukhopadhyay

Samik Mukhopadhyay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and credit analysis, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Lead Reviewer for Fundamental Credit Review at Mashreq Bank since August 2021. Previously, Samik worked at Citibank N.A. from November 2005 to October 2022, holding various roles including Vice President for Credit Acquisition and Portfolio Risk Management for Retail Mortgages, as well as Regional Credit Manager for Mortgages in South India. Earlier professional experience includes the position of Branch Credit Manager at ICICI Bank, Area Credit Manager at GE Money, and Assistant Manager at Torrent Private Limited. Samik holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and earned a PGDM in Finance and Systems from SCMHRD, along with a Bachelor of Commerce from St. Xavier's, Kolkata.
