Sindhu Manakame

Sindhu Manakame is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data architecture and engineering. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Enterprise Data Platforms and Engineering at Mashreq Bank since April 2022, Sindhu defines and maintains data architecture and strategy. Prior roles include Head of Innovation Architecture for Data and Analytics at Intertek, where Sindhu led global big data projects and engaged with business leaders to develop innovative solutions. As Chief/Lead Architect for Big Data at Lloyds Banking Group, Sindhu was responsible for the enterprise data architecture strategy, while various roles at the Department for Work and Pensions involved responsibilities as Big Data MI Technical Architect/Analyst and BI/ETL Architect. Sindhu's career also includes positions at Ciber India, IBM, and Unilever. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduation in Data Science focusing on AI/ML from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from B V B College of Engineering and Technology.
