Phoenix Maulella has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Casting Assistant at Jeremy Zimmermann Casting, where they supported the casting process and handled administrative tasks. In 2014, they interned at Sterling Lord Literistic Inc, evaluating manuscripts and assisting agents in the literary department. They continued their role at Sterling Lord Literistic Inc in 2015 as a Literary Assistant, taking on additional responsibilities including marketing brands and managing social media accounts. In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Development Assistant at The Beach, conducting research and assisting with editing casting reels. They also joined Cineflix Media Inc as an Office/Post Production Assistant, responsible for deliverables and managing supporting documents for a TV show. In 2016, they became a Production Assistant at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, before returning to Cineflix Media Inc as a Junior Coordinator in 2017. In the same year, they held roles as an Associate Producer at Big Fish Entertainment and Embassy Row. In 2019, they became a Producer at Mass Appeal, where they eventually worked their way up to Senior Director of Content & Development in 2022.
Phoenix Maulella attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts from 2007 to 2011, where they studied Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General. They then attended Ithaca College from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Writing. In 2013, during their time at Ithaca College, they also studied at the Ithaca College London Center, furthering their studies in Writing.
