Bioinformatics Senior Data Scientist at Mass Dynamics

Anna Quaglieri is a seasoned bioinformatics data scientist with extensive experience in the field of statistics and research. Currently serving as Co-chair and Secretary of the Code of Conduct Committee at Bioconductor since December 2021, Anna has also held the position of Bioinformatics Data Scientist at Mass Dynamics since May 2021. As a Co-Organizer at R-Ladies Melbourne since September 2016, Anna fosters community engagement in data science. Previous roles include Data Scientist at Eliiza and Research Assistant at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. Anna’s academic background includes a Master's degree in Statistics from both the University of Melbourne and Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, along with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the latter institution. Additionally, significant research contributions include work in epigenetics and musculoskeletal pain analysis published in collaboration with S.Orsola Malpighi Hospital.
