Paula Burton

Co-Founder, CEO at Mass Dynamics

Paula Burton has a diverse work experience in various industries. Paula is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Mass Dynamics, a company focused on transforming proteomics with their cloud-based software. Prior to this, they co-founded Flying Robot School, an educational initiative that uses flying robots to teach STEM subjects to children in rural areas. Paula was also part of the Melbourne 2020 Cohort at Startmate, and received the AICD and Mentorship program at WILD Program. Additionally, they served as an Intrapreneur in Residence and Mentor at Startupbootcamp. Paula's previous experience includes roles at DiUS as a Principal in strategy, marketing, business development, and partnerships, as well as a Senior Business Analyst at the Department of Human Services in Victoria. Paula also worked as a Business Analyst in Finance at L'Oréal and as a Marketing Consultant at DiUS. Paula Burton received their education from various institutions. Paula attended Monash University from 2000 to 2002, pursuing a degree in Computing with a focus on Computer Science. Prior to that, in 1999, they briefly studied at Deakin University, where they pursued an Arts/Science degree, also specializing in Computer Science. In 2019, they completed a course in Corporate Governance and Leadership at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
