Chris O'Connor

Chris O'Connor, CFRE, serves as the Chief Development Officer at Mass General Brigham since April 2022. Prior to this role, O'Connor was the Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Chief Development Officer at South Shore Health from February 2018 to March 2022. O'Connor also held the position of Senior Vice President of Philanthropy at South Shore Hospital between April 2013 and January 2018, and was President of the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation from January 2010 to March 2013. O'Connor's extensive background in fundraising includes a tenure at Ghiorsi & Sorrenti, Inc. from 1995 to 2010 as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, with a focus on healthcare consulting. Earlier experience includes serving as a District Manager at Automatic Data Processing from 1993 to 1995. O'Connor holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University and an MBA from Salve Regina University.
