Jonathan R. Franco

Jonathan R. Franco, MD, is currently serving as an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at Mass General Brigham since June 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a researcher at Rhode Island Hospital from June 2016 to October 2017, focusing on stem-cell therapies for meniscal injuries and osteoarthritis under The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Additionally, Jonathan worked as a research assistant at CharterCARE Health Partners from January 2015 to June 2017 on a Phase 1b/2a clinical trial and gained early experience as an orderly intern in surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in 2012. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School (2017-2021) and undergraduate studies at Brown University (2013-2016), along with high school education from Milton Academy and Pingree School.
