Matt Weidman

Matt Weidman serves as the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity Operations at Mass General Brigham since August 2023. Prior to this role, Matt was a Cybersecurity Consulting Senior Manager at EY from February 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included advising executive clients on network defenses and leading global alliance operations. With extensive experience at PwC, Matt contributed to operational technology cybersecurity and developed strategies that prevented significant potential losses. Prior positions include Systems Administrator at Krell Institute, Senior Researcher at Internet-Scale Event and Attack Generation Environment, and Aviation Software Engineer at Garmin International. Matt holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Iowa State University.
