Sam Moriarty, MEng, is a dedicated professional in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) with a passion for community and continuous education. They began their journey in the field after experiencing the impact of medical technology during a family hardship. Holding a BS in Biomedical Engineering and currently pursuing an MEng at the University of Connecticut, Sam has accumulated significant experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician at GE Healthcare and currently serves as the Clinical Engineering Manager of Operations and Compliance at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In addition to their technical roles, Sam actively promotes awareness of HTM opportunities through their leadership on the HTM Outreach Committee of the New England Society of Clinical Engineering.
