Thomas Newman

Thomas Newman is a seasoned professional in sports performance and innovation, currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Hawkin Dynamics since April 2021, where responsibilities include designing and implementing hardware and software products and supporting customer applications of force plates in various environments. Previously, Newman held the position of Director of Sports Performance and Innovation at Yale University from January 2016 to March 2021, overseeing successful sports programs in Football and Men's Lacrosse, leading both to league and national championships. Newman is also recognized for founding Athletic Standard Inc. and owning Sandbata LLC, which specializes in advanced training solutions for human performance since 2008. Educational credentials include a degree in Sports Management from Southern Connecticut State University and a BA in Communication from the University of Rhode Island.
