Jason Scally has extensive experience in media and communications. Jason has worked as the Director of Media and Communications at the Massachusetts Bar Association since 2013, where they manage a team and oversees internal and external communications efforts. Jason also serves as the primary media liaison and publisher/editor of various MBA publications. Prior to this, they worked as a Communications Manager at Nixon Peabody LLP, ensuring uniformity in tone and content for firm publications. Jason also has experience in journalism as a Managing Editor and News Editor for Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly & Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly, where they edited and wrote news and feature stories. Jason began their career as an attorney, representing claimants seeking Social Security Disability Insurance benefits.
Jason Scally obtained their Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from the University of Rochester from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they attended Suffolk University Law School from 1996 to 1999, where they graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Jason Scally has also been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts by the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers.
