Jerry Polcari

Jerry Polcari serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at MBTA since May 2015, leading the strategic development and execution of procurement activities. Prior to this role, Jerry was the Principal and CEO of Polcari Associates, LLC, providing IT consulting services in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Jerry's experience also includes serving as the Director of IT & Operations Administration and Finance at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, overseeing contract negotiations and IT outsourcing valued at over $100 million annually. Earlier in Jerry's career, the role of Procurement Team Leader for IT Software and Services at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts involved managing significant procurement initiatives amounting to $125 million. Jerry holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Saint Anselm College.
