Kathleen Hussey-O'Brien has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent position was as the Vice President of Donor Relations at The Adams Presidential Center starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Director of Customer & Community Transition at MBTA starting in 2021. From 2013 to 2020, Kathleen held the role of Director of Marketing & Creative Services at the Boston Convention Marketing Center, where they successfully launched numerous corporate initiatives and led cross-functional teams. Before that, they were the Director of Marketing at the South Shore YMCA from 2010 to 2013, overseeing the development and execution of marketing strategies. Kathleen also served as the Director of Marketing at the South Shore Chamber of Commerce from 2008 to 2010, where they achieved significant membership growth. Kathleen began their career at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as a Regional Marketing Manager from 2002 to 2007, managing marketing strategies and corporate sponsorships. Kathleen also has experience in global marketing at Ericsson and in new business development at Conventures, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at KO Consulting.
Kathleen Hussey-O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Providence College. Kathleen has also obtained a certification as a Certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute in 2021.
