Meredith Sandberg

Meredith Sandberg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Meredith started their career as a Naval Officer in the US Navy from 2007 to 2015, during which they served in roles such as Flag Aide and Speechwriter. Following their military service, they worked at the Vice Chief of Naval Operations as a Speechwriter. In 2015, they interned at Goldman Sachs through their Veteran Integration Program.

In 2016, Sandberg worked as a Summer Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group before joining Backyard Media Company as a Co-Founder in 2017. Meredith then transitioned to The Boston Consulting Group, where they served as a Consultant from 2018 to 2020.

From 2020 to 2022, Sandberg held positions at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, first as the Director of Strategic Innovation in the Office of the Governor and later as the Senior Director of Strategic Innovation. Currently, they are working at MBTA, starting as the Deputy Chief of Quality, Compliance, and Oversight in 2022 and subsequently becoming the Chief of Quality, Compliance & Oversight in 2023.

Meredith Sandberg has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University, which they completed from 2003 to 2007. Meredith then pursued further education at the US Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training Command, where they obtained the Engineering Officer of the Watch degree from 2009 to 2010. Following that, Meredith attended The Wharton School from 2015 to 2018 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. During the same period, they also studied at the Harvard Kennedy School and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree between 2016 and 2018.
