Sean Fitzgerald

Sean Fitzgerald has extensive experience in transportation safety, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Bus Safety at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) since May 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the Accident Investigation Unit, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing safety management systems. Prior to this, Sean held positions as an Inspector and Operator at MBTA from November 2007 to 2016 and worked as a Consultant in the Mayor's Office from June 2004 to February 2008. Sean's educational background includes studies at Salem State University and North Shore Community College.
