Jon Weaver

Jon Weaver is the current President & CEO at Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Real Estate at MassDevelopment from September 2014 to May 2015. In this role, Jon was a key member of the transaction team overseeing the sale of the ground lease interest in 100 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA for $280 million. Jon also served as the Asset Manager for both 100 Cambridge Street and 1550 Main Street, Springfield, MA. In addition, Jon was the Project Manager for the evaluation and acquisition of a 20,000 SF building in Downtown Lawrence. Lastly, they assisted in the program development and evaluation of projects for MassDevelopment Transformative Development Initiative – Equity Investments. Prior to their work at MassDevelopment, Jon Weaver was a Senior Project Manager at Worcester Business Development Corporation from May 2008 to August 2014.

Jon Weaver attended Assumption University, where they received their Bachelors in English with Minors in Philosophy & Politics. Afterward, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Assumption University as well, with Concentrations in Finance/ Economics & Non-Profit Management.
