Elena Ponichtera

Elena Ponichtera is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Yoga Sculpt Instructor at CorePower Yoga and as a Dermatology Medical Assistant at The Roxbury Institute. With ongoing roles as a Clinical Research Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Clinical Research Assistant at Harvard University, Elena focuses on lung cancer research and outreach initiatives. Additional responsibilities include acting as an Officer of External Affairs for the American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative at UCLA and a UCLA Ambassador for the Claire Marie Foundation. Elena also has experience in leadership roles within Kappa Kappa Gamma, serving as Academic Excellence Director and Assistant VP New Member Experience, as well as extensive lifeguarding experience, including a seasonal position as Oceanfront Head Lifeguard. Elena is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology at UCLA and is set to study abroad at The American College of Greece.
