Jay Fishman

Director, Transplant Infectious Disease And Compromised Host Program at Massachusetts General Hospital

Jay Fishman serves as a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School since 2004 and holds the position of Group Medical Counsel at Bio Investments Group in Switzerland and President Elect of the International Xenotransplantation Association, both starting in October 2023. Fishman has been associated with Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital since July 2009, where responsibilities include Associate Director of the MGH Transplant Center and Director of the Transplant Infectious Disease Program. Additionally, Fishman has served as Director of the Transplant Infectious Disease and Compromised Host Program at Massachusetts General Hospital since July 1979. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and an Exec Ed in Management from Harvard Business School.
