Kumar Krishnan serves as the Director of Endoscopic Innovation, Technology and Education at Massachusetts General Hospital since September 2017, while also holding the position of Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Kumar was an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College from 2015 to August 2017 and worked as a Gastroenterologist/Interventional Endoscopist at Houston Methodist from 2014 to August 2017. Kumar completed extensive training at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, from 2008 to 2014, holding fellowships in interventional endoscopy, esophageal studies, and gastroenterology. Kumar began medical training as an Internal Medicine resident at the University of Texas Southwestern from 2006 to 2008 after earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona.
