Louisa Sylvia

Associate Director, Dauten Family Center For Bipolar Treatement Innovation

Louisa Sylvia has extensive experience in the field of psychology and women's careers, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Women's Careers and the Director of Health and Wellness for the MGH and Red Sox Foundation Home Base Program at Massachusetts General Hospital since June 2007. Sylvia also holds the position of Associate Director at the Dauten Family Center for Bipolar Treatment Innovation, where previous roles included Director and Associate Director of Psychology, as well as Postdoctoral Fellow. In addition to these roles, Sylvia has been an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School since June 2015. Sylvia earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Temple University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Wesleyan University, alongside an education at Noble and Greenough School.
