Maria Martinez-Lage

Maria Martinez-Lage is an experienced pathologist with a robust academic and clinical background. Currently serving as an Assistant Pathologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School since August 2016, Maria has contributed significantly to the field of pathology. Previously, Maria held positions as an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a series of fellowships and residency programs at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, including surgical pathology and neuropathology, from July 2008 to June 2013. Early training included a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and a neurology residency/fellowship at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau from July 2002 to June 2007. Maria earned an MD from Universidad de Cantabria between 1996 and 2001.
