Darian Leta, MPH, is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Substance Use and Recovery Initiatives at the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers since May 2022. In this role, Darian focuses on ensuring health equity in Community Health Center initiatives and collaborating with key stakeholders on substance use disorder equity grants. Previous experience includes serving as an Infectious Disease Contract Manager at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where Darian promoted best practices in infectious disease services, and as a Community Health Specialist with the Peace Corps, implementing public health programs in Minta, Mexico. Darian has held various roles aimed at enhancing public health initiatives and addressing social determinants of health, supported by a Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Elmira College.
