Gary Gordon

Gary Gordon is a Senior Adjunct Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and the School of Criminology and Justice Studies/Security Studies Program, focusing on transportation operations, infrastructure security, and emergency management. Previously served as an Instructor/Trainer for the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency and held the rank of Colonel (Retired) in the Texas State Guard, coordinating emergency response engineering efforts. Additionally, held positions as an Adjunct Professor at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Regional Security Inspector for the Transportation Security Administration, and Founder/President of Gordon, Bua & Read, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in transportation and civil planning. Gordon's career in the U.S. Army spanned over three decades, and academic qualifications include a PhD in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and the University of Massachusetts Lowell, respectively.
