Michael Baron

Michael Baron is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in English literature and composition, currently serving as a Senior Adjunct Professor of English at UMass Lowell since September 2010. In addition to this role, Michael holds an Adjunct Assistant Professorship at Bentley University and previously taught various courses at Mount Ida College and Bay State College, including Ethics, Script Writing, and Public Speaking. Michael's leadership includes serving as Director of the Center for Learning and Academic Success at Bay State College and advising senior theses. In the martial arts domain, Michael was the Owner and Chief Instructor of Woburn Aikikai, LLC, fostering conflict resolution through dynamic engagement. Michael has contributed to the literary community as an editor for several literary magazines and has been involved in multiple academic committees. Michael earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College and an MA in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
