Chris Bourque

Chris Bourque is a seasoned professional in power plant management, currently serving as Site Manager and Plant Manager at Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) since April 2022. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Plant Manager at WIN Waste Innovations and Luminant, managing 245 MW combined cycle gas turbine facilities. As Managing Director at Dynegy, significant responsibilities included overseeing a 245 MW facility while maintaining OSHA VPP Star status and high performance metrics during ownership changes. Previously, Chris was General Manager at Equipower Resources Corp., managing five gas turbine plants with a total of 3,100 MW. Early career roles included Plant Manager and O&M Manager at MASSPOWER and Plant Manager at ENGIE Resources, alongside maintenance management positions at Northfield Mountain Station and Lafarge Cement. Educational qualifications include a BS in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy and an MS in Engineering Management from The George Washington University.
