Joseph Markman

Joseph Markman's work experience begins in 2006 as a Columnist, Production Editor, Reporter, and Entertainment Writer for The Good Five Cent Cigar. In 2007, they became an Intern Reporter for Providence Business News and wrote weekly stories for print. In 2009, they worked as an Intern Reporter for Patriot Ledger/The Enterprise and Tribune Company/New Hampshire Union Leader. Joseph then worked as a Trainer/Customer Service Representative for Computershare Fund Services, where they interacted with clients and trained new hires. In 2010, they worked as an Assistant Site Editor for TechTarget, editing articles and managing website content. During the same year, they also worked as a Local Editor and Community Organizer/Freelance Reporter for Patch.com. In 2014, they became a News Reporter for The Enterprise of Brockton, covering various topics such as City Hall, the opiate epidemic, and crime. Since 2015, they have been serving as the Associate Director of the Division of Communications for the Massachusetts Nurses Association, where they develop and implements communication strategies for nurses and healthcare professionals.

Joseph Markman completed their Bachelor's of Arts degree in Journalism at the University of Rhode Island from 2004 to 2008. Joseph then pursued a Master of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University from 2008 to 2010.
