David Gurtz, CPA, CFA has a diverse work experience that spans over two companies. David started their career at KPMG in 2001, where they worked as a Senior Manager until 2008. In 2008, they joined the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer - Director of Risk Management. David held this role until 2015 when they transitioned to become the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. In 2017, they took on the role of Deputy Chief Investment Officer - Director of Public Markets, and in January 2022, they were promoted to the position of Deputy Chief Investment Officer.
David Gurtz, CPA, CFA earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bucknell University between 1995 and 1999.
