Vassil Chatalbashev

Vassil Chatalbashev is an accomplished professional in the field of computer science, specializing in statistical machine learning, systematic trading, and systems. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Principal Research Scientist at The Voleon Group since 2009, Vassil has leveraged expertise in statistical models for systematic approaches to investment. Previously, Vassil worked as an Algorithms Engineer at Efficient Frontier, focusing on statistical models for online advertising from November 2004 to September 2006. Vassil holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Science, both from Stanford University, as well as a BS in Computer Science from the same institution.
