Jay Leu has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Jay is currently the Director of Risk at Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management since May 2019. Prior to this, Jay worked as an Adjunct Professor at Brandeis University - International Business School starting in 2012. Jay also served as a Portfolio Manager and Risk Manager at Aesir Capital Management from June 2014 to May 2019. Previously, they had roles as a Lead Portfolio Manager & Business Unit Head at Lee Munder Capital Group from July 2009 to August 2012, and as a Principal / Strategy Director of Large Capitalization Core Equity at Independence Investment from May 2001 to July 2009. Jay also held positions at Independence Investments, Independence Investment Associates, Inc., Pacific Capital Fixed Income Advisors, State Street Global Advisors, and State Street Bank.

Jay Leu attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 1985 to 1987, specializing in Finance and obtaining a degree in 1987.
