Michael McElroy

Michael McElroy has extensive experience in investment management. Michael currently serves as the Senior Investment Officer and Director of Public Markets at Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management. Prior to this, they worked at Wellington Management Company LLP as an Investment Director. Before that, they held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at Batterymarch Financial Management. Michael also served as Managing Director at Citigroup Asset Management and as Senior Vice President at Independence Investment Associates.

Michael McElroy attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics. Following this, from 1989 to 1991, they pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the MIT Sloan School of Management. During this period, they earned two Master of Science (MS) degrees, one in Transportation Planning and the other in Management.
