Beth Ramey

Beth Ramey currently serves as a Regional Organizer for the Massachusetts Teachers Association since May 2024. Prior to this role, Ramey held the position of Organizational Specialist at the Maryland State Education Association from 2017 to May 2024, focusing on organizing pre-service educators and those newly in the profession, while building capacity in diverse communities. Ramey has also gained experience as a National Field Organizer for The Climate Reality Project and as a lead for the California State Aspiring Educator Program under NEA. Additional roles include leadership positions with the Massachusetts Public Interest Research Group, where Ramey developed grassroots campaigns and trained numerous student volunteers. Ramey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, including honors from the Commonwealth Honors College.
