John Cutter Jr MPA, NRP is a seasoned emergency services professional with extensive experience in firefighting and emergency medical response. Since 2013, John has served as a Fire Captain and Firefighter/Paramedic for the Massachusetts Port Authority and holds additional responsibilities as a Rescue Specialist with the Massachusetts Urban Search and Rescue Team (FEMA). John has been a Paramedic at Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. since 2012. Academically, John earned a Master of Public Administration from Anna Maria College between 2014 and 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, John completed a Paramedic program at Safety Program Consultants Inc.

Massachusetts Task Force 1 (MA-TF 1) is one of 28 DHS/FEMA sponsored Urban Search and Rescue Teams. Sponsored by the City of Beverly, MA the team is comprised of volunteers from all 6 of the New England States. We have deployed to numerous natural and man-made disasters.
