Joyce Bowden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in canine search operations and firefighting. Since January 2008, Joyce has served as a Canine Search Specialist at MATF-1, concurrently holding the position of Lieutenant at the Cambridge Fire Department since November 2004. Joyce's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont, a Master's degree in Management from Cambridge College, and studies in Publishing at New York University.

Massachusetts Task Force 1 (MA-TF 1) is one of 28 DHS/FEMA sponsored Urban Search and Rescue Teams. Sponsored by the City of Beverly, MA the team is comprised of volunteers from all 6 of the New England States. We have deployed to numerous natural and man-made disasters.
