Stephen Driscoll has extensive experience in emergency response and fire services, currently serving as a Captain at the Canton Fire Department since September 2010, with prior roles as Lieutenant and Firefighter/Paramedic. Additionally, Stephen is a Rescue Specialist with the Massachusetts Urban Search and Rescue Team (FEMA) and the Norfolk County Technical Rescue Team, both positions held since June 2022 and November 2021, respectively. Stephen began a career in emergency medical services at Fallon Ambulance, working as a Paramedic and EMT-Basic from March 2006 to December 2010. Academically, Stephen holds an Associate's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Massasoit Community College (2012-2016) and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2001-2005), with additional studies at Northeastern University (2007-2008).

Massachusetts Task Force 1 (MA-TF 1) is one of 28 DHS/FEMA sponsored Urban Search and Rescue Teams. Sponsored by the City of Beverly, MA the team is comprised of volunteers from all 6 of the New England States. We have deployed to numerous natural and man-made disasters.
