Pam Randhawa

Pam Randhawa is Founder and CEO of Empiriko, an integrated precision medicine company focused on developing R&D technologies for assessing drug metabolism and toxicity, and point-of-care devices for early disease detection, prognosis, prediction and ongoing therapeutic monitoring.

Pam has 20 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries with expertise ranging from policy, corporate strategy, product development, analytics and marketing for Fortune 500 companies, startups and government. Prior to founding Empiriko, she co-founded AgroGreen Biofuels, an alternative biofuels technology company using plant waste.

Previously, Pam held several executive positions with major healthcare technology companies, including Phase Forward (now Oracle), McKesson and The Medstat Group (now Thomson Reuters). She also served as an independent consultant to the State of Ohio, Department of Health, where she led a statewide taskforce for the Health Status of Ohioans for the State Health Plan to increase access and quality, reduce the cost of healthcare and improve public health in Ohio.

Pam serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC), an investment agency supporting life sciences innovation, research, development and commercialization and a member of the NIH review panel for SBIR/STTR Commercialization Readiness Pilot (CRP) Program. She is also a member of the Silent Spring Institute’s Leadership Council which studies the links between the environment and women’s health, with a focus on breast cancer. In addition, she serves on the Women’s Workforce Council, an initiative of Boston Mayor Marty Walsh to eliminate the gender wage gap.

Pam holds a Bachelors Degree in economics from the University of Rajasthan, India, and received a Masters Degree from the Heinz School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie-Mellon University.
