Heather Hosler

Heather Hosler began their career in 2006 as a Private Tutor for Maths and Physics. In 2014, they joined HBM-nCode as a Software Developer, where they coded in C++ and worked on a program for calculating the metal fatigue of CAD models. Heather was promoted to Senior CAE Software Engineer in the same company, where they advised the team on how to structure certain parts of the code and suggested process improvements. In 2017, they moved to Kynesim Ltd as a Software Consultant, where they worked on an internet of things test engineering project. Finally, in 2015, they joined Massless as CTO, where they developed software for the computer vision and motion tracking algorithms, and was responsible for running the company, including organising accountants and tax payments.

Heather Hosler obtained their A levels in Maths, Physics and Further Maths from Cirencester college in 2002-2004. Heather then completed an OCR Diploma in Circus Skills and Physical Theatre at Circomedia in 2004-2005. Heather then went on to obtain their Master of Physics (MPhys) in Theoretical Physics from The University of Sheffield in 2005-2009. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from The University of Sheffield in 2009-2013. In addition, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master from The Knowledge Academy in April 2015.
