James Michalove

James Michalove is an experienced investment professional with a strong background in real estate and finance. Currently serving as an Investment Professional at Mast Capital since 2022, James has previously held similar roles at Värde Partners from 2017 to 2021 and at Fir Tree Partners as a Summer Associate in Private Real Estate in 2016. Earlier career experiences include positions as an Associate at Magnum Real Estate Group and as an Analyst at Eastdil Secured, Barclays Capital, and Lehman Brothers. James holds an MBA in Real Estate & Finance from The Wharton School (2015-2017) and a B.S. in Hotel Administration with a Minor in Real Estate from Cornell University (2005-2009).
