Michael Patrizio

Managing Director at Mast Capital

Mr. Patrizio leads development and business plan execution for the Firm’s for-sale residential development projects and select urban multifamily transactions.

Mr. Patrizio is a seasoned real estate executive with nearly 25 years of experience spanning development, design and construction, and sales/marketing. Over his career, Mr. Patrizio has led projects totaling more than $6 billion in sales and 5 million net sellable square feet of residential space. Prior to joining Mast, he was Senior Vice President of Development for Newgard where he led the Natiivo Miami project. Previouly, Mr. Patrizio was Director of Urban Development with Terra Group and executed on projects providing approximately 2 million sellable square feet of for-sale residential resulting in more than $1.8 billion in sales. Mr. Patrizio has also held leadership positions with Qatari Diar, the wholly-owned real estate subsidiary of sovereign wealth fund Qatar Investment Authority. As CEO of Qatari Diar United Kingdom Ltd., he was responsible for a portfolio of landmark properties in London valued at over $18 billion, including the 13-acre Chelsea Barracks, the U.S. Embassy in Grosvenor Square, and more than 1,400 rental apartments at the London Olympic Athletes Village.

Mr. Patrizio received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture with a minor in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Miami. He has been a member of the board of directors of numerous UK companies and is an active supporter of the University of Miami.
