Associate Vice President at Mastek

Bhavin Shah has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Bhavin started their career as a Trainee/Programmer at Asian Compusoft Ltd in 1997. In 2000, they joined Mastek as a Developer/Specialist Developer, where they were involved in the development of bespoke functionality using Oracle Applications customization methodology. Bhavin also contributed to coding, testing, and troubleshooting of interfaces and code. Bhavin then took on the role of Project Leader, where they demonstrated a good delivery track record and domain knowledge and successfully completed projects without any slippage or hotfix for two years. In 2012, they became a Project Manager/Senior Development Manager, where they developed an education-based product using Agile and deployed it on Azure Cloud. This product was adopted by numerous schools and resulted in additional revenue generation and cost optimization. From 2019 to 2021, Bhavin served as a Delivery Lead, where they implemented remote lending business processes digitally and successfully improved loan sales for a customer during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, Bhavin is an Associate Vice President at Mastek, responsible for market making, capability development, talent retention, and delivery assurance. Bhavin has also played a crucial role in enabling DevSecOps and building proof of concepts in CI/CD automation.

Bhavin Shah holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from K P B Hinduja College of Commerce in Mumbai. Bhavin completed their degree between 1992 and 1997. Bhavin later pursued an MBA in System from the Institute of Technology and Management, which they completed between 2002 and 2004. Bhavin has also obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
