José Luis López Herrera has worked in various roles since 2000. José Luis began their career at Norlop Conect as a Mercadista in 2000. In 2002, they moved to Samsung Electronics as Jefe de Promotoría, where they were responsible for managing the BTL and ATL activities in Quito and its peripheries. In 2004, they took on the role of Jefe de Mercadeo at Créditos Económicos, where they were responsible for product positioning, negotiations with brands, and supervising promotional activities. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Socialtek S.A. as Jefe de Marketing y Ventas, managing Twitter and Facebook, creating Google Ads and Facebook Ads, and responding to customer inquiries. Most recently, they have been a Customer Success Leader and Business Development at MasterBase® since 2018.

José Luis López Herrera has a diverse educational background. José Luis completed a degree in Ingeniero en Mercadotecnia from the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador in 2016. José Luis also completed an Ingeniería en Marketing degree from the same institution between 2010 and 2016. Theireducational journey began in 2005 when they completed a Tecnologo en Marketing degree from the Universidad de las Americas. In 2021, they obtained an Inbound Certified Hubspot certification from the HubSpot Academy.
